Check-in Instructions

Check-in from 3:00 PM (unless agreed otherwise)

Before your arrival, you will be contacted by our local property manager Erica.

On the day of arrival, Erica follows your arrival time at Hato International Airport

Access to the resort is granted by simply stating your name at the security control at the entrance.

You will be personally welcomed in the villa by Erica, with a short explanation of the house and facilities

If grocery service is chosen, you will be welcomed with cold drinks and groceries.

You will receive the personal QR codes to access the beach facilities.

🛒 Grocery Service (Optional):

Our local property manager, Erica, will contact you in advance to discuss your preferences regarding the grocery service. The groceries will be placed in the refrigerator prior to your arrival, and only the cost of the groceries will be charged, with no additional service fee. Payments will be arranged with Erica directly.

A convenient way to start your stay relaxed and without first needing to visit a supermarket.

Check-out Instructions

Please note the check-out time is 10:00 AM.
Late check-out is possible upon request IF available, and may subject to extra cost based on the planning. Contact us directly with your request, ideally before your arrival to check availability and costs.

Collect all used towels together in the bathroom

Dispose of trash in the resort containers

Turn off all air-conditioning units

Close the windows and lock the front door

Return the key to the lockbox at departure

Erica will complete the final inspection after your deposit.

Blue Bay is a secured, gated resort. Keep your digital access code / barcode ready at the gate and beach entrance.

The villa has 110V and 230V outlets
Please make sure devices are connected to the correct voltage
Using 110V on 230V devices may cause damage

In case of emergency, contact Blue Bay Security or local emergency services immediately. Otherwise our local host Erica can also assist if needed.

Smart TV with internet-based channels

Open the TV Mate Pro app to watch live TV. Use the on-screen menu to select channel groups and stations.

🏊 Swimming Pool
Pool hours: 08:00 – 20:00
The pool is shared with other guests and residents
Please respect quiet hours and fellow guests

Pool hours are mentioned in each villa and is also indicated at the pool itself. Sometimes guests may not have read this information. Usually, simply bringing it to their attention is enough to prevent possible disturbance. In case of ongoing nuisance, please contact Blue Bay security.

Please use dishwasher tablets without plastic wrapping, as these dissolve better in the local water system.

💧 Drinking Water

Tap water in the villa is safe to drink and of high quality. Curaçao produces drinking water through desalination, making it clean and reliable. You can safely use tap water for drinking, cooking, brushing your teeth, and making coffee.

We kindly ask guests to use water thoughtfully, as fresh water is a valuable resource on the island.

❄️ Air Conditioning & Energy Use

The villa is designed to benefit from Curaçao’s natural trade winds, and you may find that air conditioning is not always needed, especially during the day.

All bedrooms are equipped with modern, energy-efficient AC units for comfortable sleeping. Please help us keep the villa sustainable by:

Using AC only with doors and windows closed
Turning off AC and lights when leaving the villa
Using AC mainly at night

This helps reduce energy use and keeps the villa comfortable for everyone.
